EXPERIENCE

Joe Thomson brings a combination of investment experience, analytical rigor, and technical expertise to his work, with a background spanning private equity, technology, and capital markets. For the past five years, Joe has worked with a family office, where he has been actively involved in evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments across direct private equity, private equity funds, real estate, and public equities, applying disciplined underwriting and financial analysis to capital allocation decisions.

Earlier in his career, Joe worked in technology and capital markets, including roles as a Marketing Engineer at JetRev, a Web Application Developer at Aston Technologies, and at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler), where he supported fixed income trading desks. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Economics and Finance from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management.
